About us
DNTOX has developed a test system that is able to evaluate compounds regarding their potential to disturb the human brain and its development in a fast and cost-efficient way, without animal testing. Thereby, DNTOX offers toxicological testing in vitro with a focus on developmental and adult neurotoxicity. This test system is comprised of a set of multicellular and multiplexed 2D/3D in vitro test methods that are based on human neural progenitor cells (hNPCs) and human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). The toxicological evaluation is based on an in-house developed software combined with artificial intelligence.

The DNTOX in vitro test system is comprised of a set of multicellular test methods that are based on human neural progenitor cells (hNPCs) and human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). These cells are cultivated as free-floating or plated and adherent 3D spheres as well as 2D monolayer cultures. Our cell models can be used to study several key neurodevelopmental and neuronal processes.We offer services in the following fields:
