Products & Services
Labels with Gas Barrier Function
Functional Labels with gas barrier properties from Schreiner MediPharm can significantly reduce oxygen diffusion in COC syringes due to their special material selection and design. Several variants are available, for instance a Gas-Protect-Label covering the syringe barrel and a Syringe-Closure-Wrap label with an additional barrier function that wraps around the syringe barrel and the cap and is sealed at the upper end. Syringe-Closure-Wrap additionally offers an integrated first-opening indication to ensure product integrity from production till final use.
Light-Protect-Labels
Reliable light protection is particularly challenging in case of prefilled syringes. Schreiner MediPharm's broad portfolio of functional labels for a wide range of syringe types and sizes enables the efficient implementation of customized UV and light protection for both COC and glass syringes. The Light-Protect-Label covers the syringe body, while Syringe-Closure-Wrap and the Cap-Lock Label with additional light protection functionality wrap around the syringe body and cap and even provide first-opening indication.
Freeze-Light-Protect Labels
For sensitive substances that are stored and transported at low sub-zero temperatures, Schreiner MediPharm developed deep-freeze labels that reliably adhere to COC syringes. In addition, the labels can be equipped with a variety of UV and light protection levels. Moreover, additional functionalities can be integrated into the Freeze-Light-Protect labels such as documentation labels, inspection windows for checking the syringe content and a graduation.
Needle-Trap
Needle-Trap is a unique, label-integrated needle protection system for prefilled syringes to avoid needlestick injuries. Due to its compact design it requires less space during storage, transportation, and cooling compared to conventional needle safety systems. In addition, it can be easily and cost-efficiently integrated into pharma production and supply chain processes. Needle-Trap is also suitable for large-volume syringes for biologics.
