Human Placenta DNA
Exhibitor
BIORON GmbH
This genomic DNA is purified from human placenta tissue of multiple donors and has an average size of around 500 bp up to 48 kb. Placenta DNA is rich of repetitive sequences and therefore especially suitable in hybridiziation methods, like Southern Blot Hybridization or FISH, to decrease non-specific hybridization of a probe or substrate. Due to the sequence variety, it can also be used as control material in Whole Genome Amplification, for the reduction of cross hybridization, construction of genomic libraries, background generation for PCR based sterilization assays and as blocking reagent for various applications.
With years of experience, BIORON has become one of the largest providers of Human DNA with customers all around the world, ranging from small research groups up to producing companies. The material has been tested for the absence of HIV, HBV, HCV and does not contain components of animal origin.
